Join us for our open day at Fort Hommet where Festung Guernsey will be opening a number of bunkers.
Entry will be by donation to the Personnel Shelter, M19 Automatic Mortar and the Shell Shrine where we will have experts on hand to explain the use of the bunkers and the restoration work we have completed. The 10.5cm restored casemate will also be open by members of the German Occupation Museum (small entry charge will apply). The recently excavated Water Bunker will also be available to visit.
Come and have a look around if you want to learn more about the WW2 fortifications and how you can support Festung Guernsey. Entry will be by donation.
